The Halifax Huddersfield & District Golf Alliance was founded in 1952 to enable the Professionals within the Halifax Huddersfield Union take part in competition through the winter alongside amateurs.
Each event has two sections, a Pro-Am and an Am-Am, playing better ball Stableford. The maximum handicap is 20. A meal is included in the entry fee for each event. Cash prizes are paid to the leading professionals and vouchers to the leading amateurs.
The Page Trophy is played at the end of the season and is a 36 hole individual strokeplay competition.

Membership of the Alliance is through membership of an associate club or by individual membership.
Associate clubs of the Alliance are :- Bradley Park, Castlefields, Crosland Heath, Crow Nest Park, Dewsbury District, Elland, Halifax, Halifax Bradley Hall, Halifax West End, Hanging Eaton, Hebden Bridge, Longley Park, Marsden, Meltham, Outlane, Queensbury, Ryburn, Todmorden,and Willow Valley.

Please note that we compile the start sheet the Monday of the week before each event. If you add your name to the entry sheet at your club after the Sunday of the week prior to the event please notify Barry Isles or you will be missed.
